Good afternoon,
We have made great progress in our goal to give more money back to Florida families. This week, I signed Senate Bill 156 to cut vehicle registration fees. Floridians should keep more of the money they earn, and this legislation will put nearly $400 million back in their pockets. This reduction of fees is one of our “It’s Your Money Tax Cut Budget” priorities, which aims to return a total of $500 million back to Floridians.
We are also working to help our veterans find employment and expand career opportunities. I signed the Florida GI Bill to waive out of state tuition fees for our honorably discharged veterans. I look forward to sharing future successes of this legislative session with Florida families across the state.
Have a great weekend.
