Those of you who are in my circle, are aware I lost my daughter a couple of years back, and during that initial heart wrenched experience, it was apparent, that Estero did not have a grief program in our awesome community.
The name of the program is "Grief Share", a program based out of North Carolina, that is Christ Centered!!! The program will be sponsored by EUM, United Methodist Church, here in Estero, on Route 41 and the Lords Way.
I was introduced to "Grief Share" by a very, dear-to-my-heart friend, who's church offered this international program. Awesome, just awesome!!! The "Grief Share" experience is not just for someone who has lost a loved one, it goes beyond, with reaching out to those who lost a job, home, relationship, divorce,... Grief comes in all forms, it's an overwhelming, and very sad and challenging time for those who have to endure it, and we all need "that" special kind of support....
I am extremely blessed to be a part of facilitating the "Grief Share" program with EUM, Estero United Methodist, and for our Lord fullfilling my long over due desire, with finally having the opportunity to "pay it forward"...... I am beyond grateful to those who stood by me during the most horrific time of my life....My personal motto is: "It's Okay to Visit, but just don't Camp there"...... and I will help you!!!!
VisitEstero, will keep the readers informed, once the program is available for enrollment. In the meantime, you can go to.....http://www.griefshare.org/
