That the building the Estero United Methodist Church now uses for it's kitchen was its 1st kitchen & fellowship hall & named “Godby Hall”, after a member of the church, & when it was built it was strengthened with concrete & railroad ties from the old seaboard Rail Road South Western Route through Estero. It was built to be a bomb shelter.
The connecting building was the second fellowship hall after the kitchen was enlarged & it was named "Trebell Hall" after Alana Trebell , who sold the church additional property on 41. (copied from the hand of Marlene Fernandes).
