John Charles Goll
I Graduated from Central Michigan University in 1994 and after my wife Christine received her graduate degree in 1996, we got married and sought greener and sunnier pastures in Fort Myers Florida. I began my pest control career as a manager for Terminix in Michigan in 1994 right out of college and transferred to Fort Myers with the move. After running the Naples, Florida branch for 3 years, I decided to head out on my own in the business. I met some people who were exiting the industry to move to another state and had a few accounts for sale and it became my opportunity to become a business owner. Shortly after purchasing my first pest control business, my wife became pregnant with the first of our 3 girls and then we moved from our first residence at the Villages of Country Creek in Estero to a home in San Carlos. My motivation to build the business and support the family was high as well as my desire to be a husband and father who spent time with the family teaching, cheering, playing and loving on them. Sometimes those two desires clash, but I was always being reminded that God was my provider and would give me all I need and to trust in him. The business has steadily grown from 2 guys and a truck in 1999 to 13 men and women and 10 vehicles. You may see many of our vehicles in the area since I still live in Estero and headquarter our business off of Alico Rd. We have an especially strong presence here locally as well as in Naples, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers and Cape Coral. I get especially excited at the chance to do Career Days at the local schools, insect presentations, bid presentations to the many boards and communities here and other ways to network our business. I look forward to meeting and seeing more of my neighbors in Estero in the days, months and years to come. I hope you find our blog interesting and educational.
